Vintage Virginia Wine Festival Comes to Centreville

Bull Run Regional Park will welcome more than 50 Virginia wineries at the 30th Annual Vintage Virginia Wine Festival. The summertime event features over 350 selections of the Commonwealth’s finest wines. Home to nearly 3,000 acres of vineyards, Virginia has become the seventh largest wine producing region in the United States.

Vintage Virginia Wine Festival guests will have the opportunity to sample wines from each of the state’s five distinct wine growing regions.

While wine tasting events are open exclusively to adults over 21, activities and entertainment will be provided for guests of all ages. Kids can stop by the Family Tent for mini golf, balloon creations, a juggling act, and a magic show. Adults will enjoy live music from folk, jazz, and soul performers like Bettye LaVette, The Dynamites Featuring Charles Walker, L’Tanya Mari’, Blue Mule and more. Teens and adult designated drivers will be offered complimentary soda, water and sparkling cider.

In honor of the festival’s 30th anniversary, a venue called the Top 5 Tasting Tent will be featured this year. For an additional fee, guests may visit the Top 5 Tasting Tent on Saturday to enjoy special presentations and tastings from select wineries.

Vintage Virginia offers wine enthusiasts a unique opportunity to interact with winemakers, as well as over 100 crafters and artisans who will have their work on display and for sale.
