FLINT — A Vegetarian Tasting Extravaganza will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. May 22 at First Flint Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4285 Beecher.
The “Food Open House” will feature more than 40 vegetarian food samples. Visitors will be introduced to simple and healthy lifestyle choices. The day’s theme is “Quick, Easy and Delicious.” It’s designed to help you to create meals in about 30 minutes. The church also operates a vegetarian food store, which will be open during this event.
Cookbooks will be available also. Tickets are $6 in advance, $8 at the door for individuals. Couples pay $12 in advance, $15 at door; families $15 in advance, $20 at door.
